About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Macro Optimization Expert with strong expertise in Ericsson equipment and a proven track record supporting T-Mobile (TMO) network optimization efforts. The engineer will focus on optimizing macro network performance across LTE and 5G layers to meet and exceed performance KPIs in the Tampa market.
Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering;
Strong foundation in RF, analog, and mixed-signal design;
Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation;
Experience using lab instruments: spectrum/network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies;
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; Hands-on experience in lab environments
Key Responsiblities
Conduct LTE and 5G macro network optimization using Ericsson OSS (ENM), Actix, and other analysis tools.;Lead network audits, drive parameter tuning, and implement corrective actions to improve coverage, capacity, and quality.;Collaborate with engineering teams for PCI planning, neighbor management, and feature implementation.;Support market performance improvement through proactive KPI analysis and optimization campaigns.;Interface directly with customer teams (T-Mobile) to present findings, corrective actions, and network enhancement plans.
